Get your FREE school/office supplies this week

Thanks to Frugal Rhode Island Mama, I am NOT going to type up the entire list of freebies (after Extra Care Bucks ECB) at CVS Pharmacy this Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. You can just click here and read her post. Included are pencils, notebooks, binders, pens, and filler paper. REMEMBER to ask for a rain check if they are out (which I often find to be the case at CVS). They actually print out the ECBs with the raincheck later. I just got my tape that was free a couple of weeks ago. Still waiting for pencils to be in!

Also, Mashup Mom did a good job sharing the Walgreen’s list, so I’ll just lead you to her site here. The freebie is pens (after Register Rewards RR), but there are also cheap supplies, such as paper clips, folders, highlighters, crayons, etc. Some are as low as 9 cents!!!

This is the time to buy. DO NOT buy school/office supplies at full price. EVER. It’s just silly. Think ahead to what projects you may have for the year. At these prices, it’s okay to have TOO much. Paying $1 for one glue stick, for example, during the other months is just insane when you can get them so much cheaper by just looking and shopping the deals. My goal is to help you make it easier. And please, if you find a good deal that I don’t have, comment so I can share it with others! Remember, rain checks when supplies are out! Get them for the maximum number. That DOESN’T typically mean you have to buy them all, unless you want to. And when the items are free, get them even if you don’t need them. Share them with a needy family. Participate in a backpack program at church. Donate them to a local food pantry.
